Hi All,

If you were unable to attend the Nov. HSOC monthly meeting, we kicked off a new fundraising effort to raise the much need funds to continue the care of all the animals at our facilities. We started a RAFFLE which will run thru Feb. 28th. (The drawing being that day at the 8th Annual Spayghetti Dinner)

We partnered with Queen City Audio, Video and Appliance to acquire a 60” LG smart TV and a 38 bottle wine cooler. This is 1st and 2nd prizes. 3rd prize is a $200.00 Visa gift card.

The raffle tickets are $10.00 each or 3 for $20. With everyone’s help, we can meet and exceed the goal of $10,000.

Have the purchaser retain their ½ of the raffle ticket for tax purposes. Donations are tax deductible. We only ordered 2000 tickets, So remind everyone, the more they buy, the better chance of winning and most important THEY ARE HELPING A GREAT CAUSE…

Plan on attending the HSOC’s Dec. monthly meeting for a special incentive.

I know you think I am going to ask you to buy a raffle ticket. Absolutely not. I am going to ask you to pick up (or have me deliver to you) some raffle tickets and sell to all your friends, neighbors, co-workers, family members and of course yourself!

If you need to pick up tickets or have them delivered or additional information, please contact:

Jo Spencer @ 704-516-8655 or
Stacy Stewart @

Tickets are available to pick up at Ruth’s Memorial Shelter, Princeton’s Meow and the 49 Campus

Monday, November 24, 2014 - 01:31

Just a reminder that the workshop for the rescued dogs will be held this weekend at 3pm at K-9 Capers Dog Training Academy

Any dog or puppy adopted from Ruth's or 49 will be free of charge for the workshop.

Workshop includes training tips, free books and socialization charts!
