Princeton's Meow, a comfortable cage-free cat/kitten adoption site, named after our mascot (shown here to the left) allows the whole family to make the right match of a feline or two to join their home. Our address is 29 Brookwood NE- just off Church street in Concord (behind Whitley's Car Wash) and only about a block from the spay/neuter clinic.  Visit us soon, and spread the word.  We also have cats in foster care and a number of others at the Cabarrus County Animal Shelter and now at our own Ruth's Memorial Shelter. We also now have cats for adoption at Petsmart in Afton Ridge, at Interstate-85 Exit 54.  However, ALL our available cats are listed below.  Email enquiries HERE.

The phone number for Princeton's is 704-721-6369. The phone can only be answered during adoption hours; messages may be left at other times.

You can see that our kitties at Princeton's Meow are in an environment where you can meet them up close and interact with them, hold them in your lap and pet them, to find just the right kitty for your home. And of course, since the Cabarrus Humane Society is a no-kill agency, every cat you see there will be available until that happy day they go to their forever home.

She’s declawed and seems to prefer adults over children.  She likes to be around people, and when she’s having a good day she’ll hop on your lap and be super affectionate.  She would be happiest as an only cat in a quiet household.  Cheers can be seen at Princeton’s Meow.
SASSY is a gorgeous girl (DOB: 12/03) that has been at Princeton’s for some time now.  People have commented that her name can definitely fit her personality!  We believe she’s a Norwegian Forest Cat mix.  Sassy is declawed and likes to keep to herself, so she’d be happiest as an only cat.  She spends most of her days sleeping in the sun and will occasionally let us brush her, but overall she’s a quiet, unassuming girl.  Sassy is in foster care and can be seen by emailing THIS EMAIL ADDRESS.
BEAUTY is a “beauty” of a girl (DOB: 11/07) that is extremely shy with people.  She looks to be a Norwegian Forest Cat mix.  Since we’ve had her we’ve noticed she likes the company of other cats, but people…not so much.  She will require a very patient person to work with her since she has a mistrust of humans.  Some of our volunteers have been able to make progress with her, but it’s been slow-going.  If you’re game, why not give her a chance?  Beauty is currently in foster care.  If interested in meeting her, please email THIS EMAIL ADDRESS.
MOPPET is a special needs kitty, looking for a special adopter. She has tested positive for FIV but is loving and playful.
